Taking a Course For Category A1
It is essential to complete an A1 category course before you can obtain your license. But it is not the only one. You must also pass the test in practice.

Theoretical lessons
Sigma Aerospace College provides courses that cover all the theoretical requirements for obtaining the pilot's license. They include the MEA Aeroskills Training package as well as Part 66 module assessments. These courses also meet the licensing requirements for the European Union. These programs do not include the practical aspect of training. Students can complete practical training using RPL.

The theoretical lessons are the most important part of the class for category A1. You must take 12 theory lessons, each of 90 minutes in order to pass an exam in theory. The number of lessons may differ based on how well you are learning.

The course for A1 category prepares students for a practical test on motorcycles. This course is designed for students who want to ride a moped or small motorbike that has a capacity of up to 125cc. Students who wish to pass the test must have completed at least nine hours of training under the supervision of an instructor.

Theory test
You must pass the theory test to be granted an A1 license before you are able to start your practical training. The theory test consists of 40 questions, of which 10 focus on road safety. The test runs for 30 minutes and you must make a minimum of five mistakes in order to pass.
You can prepare for the exam by practicing tests and using an instruction manual. There are also online courses and programmes to help you acquire the essential information.
